Great Debate LogoWhile preparing on the event registration website for an UK event called "Drug Treatment: the Great Debate 2008", I came up with an idea for a nice logo. I admit, that the event managers have never planned to have a logo for this event, so I made it in my free time - and since it was accepted, it became an official logo of the April 2008 event.

Warwick 2008 LogoThe "Warwick 2008" logo aimed to underline three inter-related pillars of the 2008 conference, for which it had been designed.

Simplicity of the logo allowed to create a clean "favicon" - standard 16x16 browser icon: Warwick Favicon

CJK logotypeOur own logotype, CJK had just a couple of core requirements:

  • It should be linked to the name of the  owner of the company
  • It should be printable and have an attractive appearance in both black-and-white and colour.
  • It should be as simple as possible, to ensure good visibility both in small and large print sizes.

The resulting logo:

  • Can be read as initials of the owner (GK).
  • Is a single-coloured image, easy to use in any application, either b-w or full-colour, with solid or transparent backgrounds, on light or dark backgrounds
  • Is simple enough to use it even as a standard 16x16 icon: CJK icon
